First class lounge to open at London Luton Airport
A premium first-class lounge is set to open at London Luton Airport this summer.
In July, award-winning airport lounge specialist No1 Lounges is set to unveil its first lounge at London Luton Airport.
This will be the company's12th luxury lounge to open at a UK airport.
The Clubrooms lounge at London Luton will offer passengers a luxury experience ahead of their flight, regardless of which airline or class they are travelling on or with.
Guests will enjoy stylish surroundings, airside views, table service, high-end dining and a choice of fine wines, craft beers, cocktails and spirits. Food and drink will be included in the entry price.
Passengers will have the opportunity to upgrade their booking to add bottomless champagne packages for an additional £10.
The new first class airport lounge at London Luton Airport will be open to passengers aged 12 and over. It will be situated next to the main departure area, for easy access and a hassle-free experience of travelling through the airport.
Ahead of the launch, a special offer will be available to book for just £27 for a three-hour visit, compared to the standard price of £36. The discounted introductory price will be eligible for stays up until the 30 September 2019.
No1 Lounges are currently on offer to passengers travelling out of Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham and Edinburgh Airports, as well as Sydney and Melbourne.
The opening of the new luxury airport lounge at London Luton is part of the airport's £160 million transformation programme, designed to expand and improve the terminal building and enhance passenger experience.
Phil Cameron, Founder & CEO of No1 Lounges said: “We are excited to be launching at Luton Airport and can think of no better way to introduce the No1 experience to its passengers than with our most premium Clubrooms brand. Our existing lounges across the UK have proven to be extremely popular with business and leisure travellers, and we look forward to providing greater choice, and a truly premium experience to London Luton’s passengers - and at a price that represents great value for money.”
Jonathan Pollard, Chief Commercial Officer at LLA, said: “Improving our passengers’ travel experience lies at the heart of our redevelopment, from increasing the selection of shopping and dining options, to expanding our route network and making the terminal easier to navigate. With more people travelling with us for business and pleasure than ever before, we know that some of our passengers are looking for a little extra indulgence before they start their trip. In addition to our current Aspire executive lounge, the Clubrooms will deliver a luxurious pre-flight experience for those who enjoy the finer things in life.”
