Competition winner visits Park First head office
The winner of a free parking space visited Park First head office this week to sign the contracts for his new investment.
Mohammad Afzal travelled from his home in nearby Manchester to our head office in Padiham, Lancashire, following the news he was the winner of our parking space competition.
Park First offered existing investors the chance to win a free parking space, located at one of our Glasgow Airport car parks, to add to their investment portfolio.
Worth £20,000, the car parking investment came with the new lifetime lease in place.
Investors received an email about the competition and had to simply complete a form to enter.
The competition was drawn by managing director Toby Whittaker, who chose a winner at random from hundreds of entrants.
This week, Mr Afzal enjoyed a tour of our head offices with our direct sales team, before signing the contract for his new investment.
Ameer Mohamad, Senior Personal Account Manager at Park First, said: “Mr Afzal was extremely happy to win this parking space. We discussed his existing portfolio and talked about potential opportunities for him to consider. It was a really good meeting and we were delighted to welcome him to our head office.”
Glasgow Airport continues to go from strength to strength, serving more than 30,000 people a day on average during the October school holidays.
A record 9.9 million passengers travelled through Glasgow Airport last year, making it the busiest year in its 52-year history. The airport’s management is in the process of investing £24 million in a transformation programme.
